Spotlight: John Barbagallo, Funeral Director

John Barbagallo is a funeral director in Garden City, NY

I recently sat down with my friend John Barbagallo to discuss what some might call a somewhat morbid topic – his job. John is a funeral director from Garden City, NY, and works as a consultant with funeral homes in New York City and Long Island (to the East of New York City for any who aren’t familiar with the area). As you can imagine, he gets calls at all hours of the night, and can sometimes be working for extremely long stretches of time. While his is another career that has been around for a very long time, there have been some recent technological developments that save time for John and other funeral directors, as well as help families who have experienced a loss to receive death certificates sooner.
